Zandra Rhodes was born in Kent, England, on September 19, 1940. Her interest in fashion was encouraged by her mother, who worked in a fashion house. Zandra Rhodes entered Medway College of Art in 1959.

In 1961, she enrolled at the Royal College of Art in London and graduated successfully in 1964, after which she continued working as a teacher. Zandra Rhodes founded her own brand, Zandra Rhodes, in 1968, an event marked by a show of a women's collection featuring asymmetrical cuts and printed fabrics with oriental-style patterns.

Later, she often used ethnic elements to create a personalized image for her brand's followers. Zandra Rhodes, an influential designer of the 1970s, owes much of her fame to the famous band Queen, who chose her clothing for several of their concerts. In addition to designing collections, Zandra created stage costumes for theatrical productions for the British National Opera.

British designer Zandra Rhodes created a women's perfume of the same name, Zandra Rhodes, in 1994. The fragrance composition perfectly complements both elegant daytime and luxurious evening attire. In 2010, the women's fragrance Button Flower was released globally, continuing to delight loyal fans of the brand.
