Fragrance information:

Since 2016, Aetheroxyde has never stopped surprising. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the sweet and wood families. The fragrance was crafted by perfumers Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Nicolas Chabot. Aetheroxyde is part of the Series 01/Chemical Reaction collection. In eau de parfum — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Expect a delicate sillage: a quiet, intimate presence. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Country of origin — France. Aetheroxyde unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of Aetheroxyde unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Aether comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Ambery, Wood and Sweet. At family level the scent maps to Sweet and Wood.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a soft-dry woody mood: Ambroxan, Iso E Super, Sweet Accord and Woody Accord.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Gourmet, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle indicates a stable lasting impression. In diffusion Weak defines the projection profile in space.

Overall Aetheroxyde sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
