This fragrance is definitely not for everyone. It's strict and intense, with pronounced patchouli, which makes it quite specific. I'd say it's more suitable for a confident woman who knows what she wants. A young girl might want to try it with a gothic look, but overall, it's clearly not for romantic souls. In the top notes, I catch plum, which then blends with spices. The spices slightly fade, and in the base, patchouli with woody accents is already audible. The fragrance is interesting, long-lasting, and truly evolves throughout its wear. I've had it for two years, and if anyone needs it, feel free to ask

This chypre for women seems to be stuck in the past, lacking modernity. It's long-lasting, bright, but the powdery note is too intrusive, and the sillage is simply enormous. The fragrance is certainly well-made, but the richness of its scent only brings a touch of bitterness 😔

after reading many rave reviews, I became interested again and decided to order several Mauboussin samples. the perfume wasn't available, so I chose EDT. what can I say. both Mauboussin and Koh-i-Noor unfold absolutely identically on my skin. it all starts with this juicy plum caramel mixed with diesel fuel. now I understand why Ramses likes them both so much. indeed, they are very similar at the beginning. yes, each has its own development, but their initial note is similar. Mauboussin seems more complex and multifaceted compared to Koh-i-Noor. after a bright start, the fragrance slightly fades, settles closely on the skin and begins to change. I smell vanilla, chocolate, a slight bitterness of bergamot, and white flowers, possibly jasmine. caramel echoes beautifully intertwine with the amber sound of the perfume. but sandalwood and benzoin are too sweet, distracting from the other notes. I don't smell rose or cedar, but peach is very bright, juicy and sweet. my nose starts to get tired of this sweetness. with Koh-i-Noor, leather and a bit of fuel are added to its cloyingness, which sounds quite intrusive. and with Mauboussin, the sweetness remains plum-juicy, slightly diluted with chocolate bitterness. but this combination also seems too feminine and even suffocating to me. I want to escape from this sweet syrup either into freshness or into heavy bitterness. in the deep drydown, after several hours, they again become very similar to each other. in general, despite the interesting fragrances, my final verdict is — it's not for me

With this, I'll definitely fall in love with both plum and cognac. This chypre fruity fragrance by Christine Nagel is simply gorgeous. Compared to Femme Rochas, it's much better (in my opinion). It's not overwhelming at all, not heavy, no retro style. It smells very beautiful, soft, and smooth. For everyday use-it's simply a treasure! 😏

The scent turned out to be too intense for me. The floral notes and fruits are overwhelming, and there's too much vanilla and woody accents. It's definitely not for everyone, very long-lasting and mature, and the bottle, by the way, looks quite interesting 🌸

This fragrance is simply amazing! It's so mature and serious, you immediately feel its character. For me, this is a true chypre! It perfectly combines notes of rose, plum, and peaches, while patchouli and sandalwood add depth. The fragrance is very long-lasting and powdery, I just can't get enough of it!!!

The name, of course, isn't impressive, but the scent itself speaks volumes. In summer, I don't think it would be very suitable, it might be too much in the heat. The scent is truly stylish and beautiful, but at the same time it's unusual and powerful. I wouldn't say it can suffocate your sense of smell, but its presence is clearly felt. This scent for me is more like real aromatherapy than just a perfume. I adore such smells! Here, you can feel a "smoky prune," as if slightly smoked, with a light hint of smoke. I just revel in it when I inhale it 🌟

The fragrance struck me with its rich sweetness, it's truly impressive. The opening is simply magnificent. Caramel and plum, yes, vanilla is also noticeable, and it all feels like it's in some kind of resin, as someone else already noted. This chypre is fruity, but so classic you don't even know how to feel about it. Peaches, yes, there are many, and even the peel is noticeable, but there's no plum here, just the warmth of the fruits. When it starts to warm up on the skin, the flowers begin to emerge, and that's when you need to be careful not to reveal too much 🌸

How annoying it is when you pick up this heavy, pyramid-shaped bottle. And inside - this sticky, viscous liquid with a smell that, frankly, I'm already tired of. The plum-chocolate scent, which should supposedly be pleasant, actually only makes you want to get rid of it. I don't understand why inhale it again and again when it's so suffocating 😤
