This is the second time I'm trying a women's perfume on my skin, and I still can't figure out what this scent is. Why did I even do this? Feminine? Absolutely! But it completely doesn't match my ideas of how masculine scents I like should smell. At the same time, it doesn't cause repulsion and doesn't make me immediately run to wash it off my wrist. I want to wait a bit and understand it. As for the notes, there's clearly a rosy oud here. That's probably the most accurate and concise description. Plus a bit of honey with milk and a light hint of violet with amber. The scent is light, pleasant, not intrusive. Truly FEMININE. It smells of clean, well-groomed skin of a healthy woman. Not vulgar, not overly sexual, but rather calm and cozy. Suitable for a home environment. and, perhaps, more for a wife or mother than for a girlfriend. In the base, it becomes richer, with clear notes of patchouli and vanilla. If this is indeed a clone of Tom Ford's Noir de Noir, as many claim, then perhaps it's for the best that I didn't test it. I don't regret trying it, but I probably won't wear it constantly. It's not quite my style. Although. let it sit for a while, maybe I'll come back to it in the summer

At first, I was thrilled with this scent. A cognac-leather trail, status, and style. But then it somehow got a bit tiresome. I ordered a set - a hundred ml EDT and deodorant, wore it almost every day. And now it feels quiet on me. I don't know, maybe I'm just tired of it. But I'm not going to throw it away, let it sit for a while, I'll come back to it later. The scent isn't too long-lasting, but there's something to it. hot, as if. Rum and mandarin quickly disappear, and spicy pepper and patchouli begin to emerge on the skin. They are still bright, with an alcoholic note. Then woody notes appear, agarwood and musk. Pleasant, but somehow too soft and unobtrusive. I don't smell cedar at all, no coniferous shades either. The wood remains on a spicy and sweetish leather base with mandarin peel. Quiet, cozy, but somehow too calm. And after a few hours, a soapy undertone appears, as if I just stepped out of the shower after using an expensive shampoo. I don't know, I don't really like that 😒

Upon receiving the bottle of Ceylon, there was a glass sample in the box. I tried it. What can I say? The first impressions were not bad. Mint, bergamot, vetiver - all of that was noticeable. But after a little while, suddenly there was a smell of slime. Not fresh, but some kind of swampy, unpleasant kind. Mint is still there, patchouli is breaking through. And the lavender, which was mentioned, is not noticeable at all. Labdanum? Hmm. To the algae was added some kind of fishy smell, and it's river fish, not salty. Not pleasing at all. :( An hour later. The algae and slime had aired out, only fish oil remained. Like in childhood, when they gave you that disgusting stuff. What the heck??? I've never encountered such a combination before. Now on my skin, there's a metallic taste and stale magazines from a storage room. A bit of machine oil and wet newspapers used to wrap fish. Bergamot and mint were left somewhere far behind. Ugh. I'll try again in a couple of days, but for now, it's definitely not for me. UPD. Couldn't do it. Threw out the sample. Horrible 😔

Today I'm testing an American fragrance again. Z-14, which can truly be called a legend! Immediately, a spicy green accord hits the nose. Vetiver and moss, and then vetiver again. A little cypress and greenery, and then vetiver once more! Then a slight hint of leather appears, as if I found a belt lost in a dense forest. I sat down to pick it up and stayed there, in the shade, listening to the barely perceptible musk peeking through the coniferous and mossy notes. The fragrance gradually fades, becoming a bit spicier and less green. The coniferous wood sounds softer, calmer. And in it, a light tobacco nuance is felt. Vetiver remains, and the colonel departs, leaving a trail familiar to many of the older generation. I can't quite tell if I like it yet, but it definitely grabs attention. This is certainly not for the youth. I want to smell it again, and then I'll decide if and where to wear it 😉

This fragrance is just boring. It's so neat and everyday that you won't even notice it's gone. It doesn't scream, doesn't attract attention, it just sits there and doesn't bother anyone. Wearing it is like breathing air in an empty room: it's pleasant, but you don't feel anything. Sweet bergamot and melon instead of pear - is that a joke? Basil and cedar appear, but so quietly that you might not even notice them. Patchouli and musk? You can't even smell them at all! In the end, the fragrance is a complete failure, a modest one that leaves no impression

Egyptian resins? An interesting combination, of course. The fragrance is truly surprising. Maybe this is how pharaohs' mummies smelled? ;) Thick resin with burnt caramel, a bit of tar, amber, and leather. But burnt caramel is at the forefront here. The perfume's color is reddish-brown, like burnt caramel buns. The scent barely changes; resinous-caramel notes dominate from start to finish. The longevity is simply beyond reasonable. The sweetness of fruits and bergamot, if present, is only a ghost, while pepper adds spice and a slight bitterness. Overall, the opinion is mixed. This perfume is neither masculine nor feminine (And is it even a perfume???) Would I want to wear it? No! But to smell it? Yes! It's more of a scent for oneself, for enjoyment

Tried a new fragrance and it just blows my mind from the first note! It's such a familiar scent, like I'm back in childhood, chewing "Wrigley's Peppermint" Remember those soft perforated packs? That's exactly what it smells like! But it's not just a mint air freshener, it's something deeper and more natural. First, you feel the velvety freshness of mint, and then an interesting note appears that's hard to describe - it's like the smell of hot white quartz sand on the beach. It's so silky and warm! Gradually, the fragrance becomes smoother and drier, and the sweetness of anise and fennel breaks through the sand. You feel cleanliness, sun, and water, but without marine notes. It's more of an oceanic scent, fresh and dry at the same time. Imagine lying on a towel after swimming, with flowers breaking through the sand around you. The longevity isn't too high, the sillage is pleasant but not too intrusive. There's something in it that reminds me of Terre d'Hermès, but this is a completely unique fragrance! It's unlike any other fresh perfume I've tried. This is definitely a summer option, perfect for a light shirt and linen pants. It needs sun and wind! I don't know yet if I'll buy a full bottle, but testing it was very pleasant. Summer is ahead, so I'll enjoy it!
