Description of the composition

The composition of Ormolu is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Penhaligon's is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Chamomile and Wormwood.

When the opening settles you sense Jasmine, Rose, Violet and ylang-ylang keeping a sensual jasmine direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Floral, Green and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Musk.
