A master perfumer with Parisian roots

Pierre-Constantin Gero is one of those talented "noses" whose creations can be found in the wardrobes of connoisseurs around the world. As a perfumer for global giant Symrise, he creates fragrances for luxury fashion houses and independent niche brands, masterfully balancing commercial success and artistic expression.

From medicine to the art of perfumery

The perfumer's biography began in Paris, where he was born into a family of Greek immigrants. Growing up in the creative atmosphere of his father's design studio on Rue d'Otville, Pierre-Constantin initially saw himself in medicine and studied chemistry in depth. However, fate led him to the legendary ISIPCA school in 1996, where his unique gift was revealed. An internship at Synarome and a subsequent move to the Munich branch of Drom in 2002 laid a solid foundation for his career.

Forming a unique style

Starting with fragrances for Bill Blass and Manuel Canovas, Gero quickly established himself as a promising creator. The turning point came in 2012 with his move to Symrise, where his signature style blossomed. His first works for the Austrian brand Wiener Blut — the woody-musky Volkamaria, the oriental Indisch Leder, and the elegant florals Florentiner and Panasch — demonstrated his mastery of different genres and his ability to create memorable compositions.

Signature style: from oriental luxury to modern fougères

Pierre-Constantin Gero's style is recognizable by its bold and sensual combination of rich notes. He masterfully works with ambergris, oud, incense, leather, and spices to create dense, multifaceted, and yet elegant fragrances. His signature style bridges the gap between classical perfumery and contemporary trends, whether it be a deep oriental composition or a refreshed interpretation of a fougère.

Collaboration with global brands

The perfumer's portfolio is an impressive map of the industry. He has created fragrances for the legendary Carolina Herrera, British Atkinsons, Italian Trussardi, as well as for such well-known brands as Davidoff and Police. His work with niche projects such as Initio Parfums Prives and Fragrance du Bois, as well as with affordable giants Oriflame and Faberlic, occupies a special place, highlighting the versatility of his talent.

The best and most popular fragrances

Among the perfumer's best fragrances are cult compositions that regularly top the ratings. These include the sensual Addictive Vibration (Initio), the mesmerizing Indisch Leder (Wiener Blut), and the luxurious Gold Incense (Carolina Herrera). Equally popular with the public are the bright Run Wild (Davidoff), the mysterious The Black Rose (Trussardi), and the exquisite The Other Side of Oud (Atkinsons). These fragrances have received rave reviews for their depth and charisma.

New horizons and fresh works

Today, working at the Dubai branch of Symrise, Pierre-Constantin Gero is actively exploring the rich world of Middle Eastern perfumery. His latest projects confirm his inexhaustible creativity: the refined Bouquet Encore and Ambre Cello for L'Orchestre Parfum, as well as the original UD Ikat for the Italian brand UER MI. These creations prove that the master continues to evolve and set new trends.

Contribution to the world of perfumery

Pierre-Constantin Gero's journey is an inspiring story of transforming scientific interest into the art of creating emotions. His influence on the industry is evident: through collaborations with dozens of brands, he offers a unique sensory experience that brings together cultures and traditions. His biography and extensive portfolio reinforce his status as one of the most sought-after and versatile perfumers of our time, whose fragrances continue to win the hearts of new fans.
