Fragrance information:

TO BE The King Police, unveiled in 2013, is classified as a masculine fragrance, drawing from the spicy and east families. The talent of Pierre-Constantin Guéros is written all over this bottle. A fragrance from the To Be collection, in eau de toilette.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. The longevity is very low — a light cloud that fades quickly. Brand country — Italy. TO BE The King Police — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of TO BE The King unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Police is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Spicy, Musk, Green and Wood. It also reaches into Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in East and Spicy.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect cardamom-peppery first notes: Laurel and Nutmeg.

In the heart you meet Cashmeran and Lavender carrying a leathery musky direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Musc, Wood and Spicy without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms Very low indicates a stable lasting impression. In trail behavior Middle describes the way the scent radiates.

Overall TO BE The King reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

1
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is truly impressive, but the bottle was unlucky again. At first, it seems a bit harsh, but after 20 minutes it softens and reveals sweetish-resinous notes with a slight bitterness. Laurel is very noticeable, but not in a dry form, rather as if slightly steamed. This is quite interesting, although one acquaintance noted that the laurel is too intrusive and evokes associations far removed from perfumery!!!
