Tonic Abel, brought to life in 2015, is officially considered a unisex fragrance, rooted in the spicy and fern families. The inspiration and craft behind the bottle belong to Isaac Sinclair and Frances Shoemack. Part of the Discontinued collection, available as eau de parfum.

It has a very delicate sillage, staying close and personal. Produced in the Netherlands, where perfumery has long been elevated to an art form. Tonic Abel — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Description of the composition

The scent of Tonic is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Abel is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In projection Very weak defines the projection profile in space.

In the top tier you sense invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Lime and Mint.

When the opening settles you notice Vetiver and Woody Accord carrying a velvety sandalwood direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Aromatic, Wood and Floral. It also reaches into Spicy and Gourmet. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Fern and Spicy.
