Identity and History of Aerin Lilac Path

The fragrance Aerin Lilac Path, released in 2013, embodies the refined aesthetics of the brand Aerin, founded by Aerin Lauder.

This perfume was one of the first releases of the young brand, which debuted in 2013 and quickly won the hearts of connoisseurs thanks to its poetic name — "Lilac Path" — and nostalgic character, inspired by memories of the gardens of Aerin's grandmother, the legendary Estée Lauder.

The recognizable bottle design with a cap adorned with a pink stone and the "Marila" pattern on the packaging emphasizes elegance and femininity, making it a coveted accessory for any collection.

Positioning and Character of the Fragrance

Lilac Path is positioned as a female fragrance from the Floral family, which is perfect for romantic dates, spring walks, or everyday elegance.

Its medium sillage creates a gentle but lasting presence, without overwhelming others, and the concentration in the form of eau de parfum ensures a balance between intensity and naturalness.

For optimal development, spot application on the skin is recommended on the wrists and neck, and spraying a cloud on clothing will enhance longevity, creating a light, enveloping effect.

Perfumers and Brand Influence

The creation of this masterpiece was worked on by talented perfumers: Aerin Lauder, who brought personal vision and family traditions, Harry Fremont, known for his floral compositions, and the team of Firmenich, which provided technical perfection.

Their joint work helped strengthen Aerin's reputation as a brand that combines the American dream with European refinement, making Lilac Path a symbol of grace and natural beauty in the perfume world.

The note pyramid of Aerin Lilac Path is a harmonious interweaving of floral and green chords, creating an image of a lush lilac garden.

The composition is dominated by the note of lilac, which gives the fragrance a delicate, slightly powdery character, complemented by the freshness of angelica and galbanum.

Jasmine and orange blossom (neroli) add warm, honeyed shades, and honeysuckle completes the bouquet with a light sweetness, making the fragrance multifaceted and inspiring.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. At first, the scent seems too realistic. If you don't wait for its full development, you'll perceive the natural smell of freshly cut lilac branches and its flowers. Over time, it softens and evolves into a pure floral lilac note 🌸

What a wonderful scent! It reminds me of a spring garden where lilac and angelica bloom. Jasmine and orange blossom add lightness and freshness to it. The lilac here is simply magnificent, there's a lot of it and it smells very natural. But the sweetness, which is also abundant, makes it a little too sweet. Because of this, I think it would be more suitable for young girls

As soon as you inhale, you're immediately transported to a spring garden where white lilac bushes are generously covered with large flowers. It's an incredibly delicate scent of fresh blooming flowers, combined with a light breeze and young green leaves. The lilac is simply exquisite! In winter, when stuffy sweet scents are all around, spring flowers seem like a true miracle 🌸

The scent brings associations with En passant by Olivia Giacobetti for Frédéric Malle. It's fresh and damp, as if you're walking down an alley where lilac bushes bloom after the rain. The longevity is also pleasing

The lilac scent is simply magnificent, long-lasting and with a light sweetness. It evokes memories of a hot summer day spent at grandma's dacha, where lilacs bloom. The bottle, though simple, has a certain charm, looking very vintage. I definitely like it

On me, this scent appears quite simple, though appealing. But for 4500 rubles, I'm not ready to pay for ordinary lilac, even if I like it. It's such a calm, slightly rough lilac with a subtle hint of pollen from white flowers growing nearby

This scent reminds me of a perfume from another brand, but with a more affordable price. It features notes of lilac, herbal freshness, and jasmine 🌸

The lilac in this perfume is certainly not bad, but let's not forget the price is simply exorbitant. Beautiful and feminine? Yes, but it's not worth getting too excited about. Honestly, I don't know if it's worth it )

The smell of natural lilac is definitely noticeable, and it's quite pleasant. Nothing irritating, everything is harmonious. There's a light hint of jasmine, but lilac is clearly in the foreground here 🌸

What the hell, this fragrance isn't worth its money at all! Thanks to those who noticed it's similar to Novaya Zarya's lilac - I felt it too. The only difference is that the bottle looks more stylish. But in terms of quality and scent - it's absolute garbage, no difference at all. Why overpay then

The scent truly delights with its rich sound of cultivated lilac, which blooms a little later than usual. Jasmine also plays its part here; without it, the lilac accord would be incomplete. In the modern world of luxury lilac perfumes, they can be counted on one's fingers, so this option looks very appealing. But here's a secret - "True Persian Lilac" from Novaya Zarya is no less in quality 🌸

This scent makes me nostalgic, reminds me of something familiar but not quite. It has notes of orange blossom and lilac, but they're not very pronounced. The lilac seems less, and the orange blossom sounds quieter. A berry accent and greenery add interest, and jasmine, undoubtedly, is delightful. But angelica slightly spoils the overall impression. Powdery notes are present, but angelica always makes me uncomfortable. Overall, it's a pleasant perfume, worth attention. The jasmine in it is truly beautiful, but the longevity leaves something to be desired ))
