This perfume embodies elegance and freshness, perfectly suited for the modern woman seeking a unique perfume experience inspired by art and emotions.

Identity and Release History

La Tulipe from Byredo is more than just a fragrance; it is part of the brand's philosophy, founded by former basketball player and artist Ben Gorham, who strives for minimalism and purity.

Released as a floral composition, this perfume reflects Byredo's DNA, where simplicity meets sophistication, creating a timeless release that remains relevant over the years.

Positioning and Wearability

Created for women, La Tulipe has a medium trail that gently envelops without overwhelming, making it complimentary and recognizable in daily life.

For optimal use, it is recommended to apply pointwise on the skin so that the fragrance unfolds naturally, and enter the cloud when spraying on clothing for a more lasting effect.

It is perfect for spring and summer seasons, as well as for everyday wear, office days, or romantic encounters, thanks to its versatility and fresh character.

Authors and Influence

This masterpiece was created by two talented perfumers: Ben Gorham and Jérôme Epinette, whose collaboration brought a unique blend of notes that enhances the brand's aesthetics.

Their work on La Tulipe highlights Byredo's influence in the industry, where each fragrance becomes an artistic expression that attracts the attention of connoisseurs worldwide.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of La Tulipe begins with refreshing top notes of cyclamen, freesia, and green rhubarb, creating a bright and playful start that instantly catches attention.

In the heart of the composition, a delicate tulip dominates, adding floral purity and elegance that gradually unfolds on the skin.

The base is strengthened by warm notes of cashmeran and vetiver, providing musky softness and woody stability, which completes the fragrance with a lasting and memorable trail, perfect for long hours of wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This tulip is just amazing in its realism in perfumery! The scent is so natural, it feels like you're really inhaling the flower, you can even feel the pollen on your nose. And not just the flower, but the freshness of its green stems is wonderfully palpable. A true spring fragrance that fills you with energy and inspiration! 🌷

I'd dreamed of tulips for a long time but couldn't find anything similar in perfumery. And for several years now, my La Tulipe has been bringing me spring, shortening winter. I've finally found my ideal tulip fragrance! Even if it only smells bright and juicy at the beginning, for its "Spring is coming - make way for spring!" I'm ready to forgive its short sillage and simple vetiver-green base. I feel like I'm drinking it, like fresh, clean water, and this time of year I miss it like clean mountain air with the scent of spring snow. I enjoy it until warm May, and then carefully hide it from the heat. La Tulipe is one of those fragrances I collect in my "Seasons" collection

Today my wife wore this amazing fragrance! How beautiful it is, simply a sight to behold! Gentle, rich, but not intrusive - that's what I feel. Chic, noble, and clearly expensive! It surprised me to the core!

a fragrance that evokes nostalgia. in its heart, a bouquet of tulips rings out, and vetiver and herbs add depth. it's as if it reminds you of spring days when everything blooms. simplicity combined with a twist makes it special, emphasizing sophistication. for women, it will be a true adornment, but at the same time, it leaves a feeling of something fleeting

The fragrance is simply amazing, it's bright and floral, perfect for spring and hot summer. First you feel the freshness of tulip, and then notes of leaves and stems are added. On the skin, it doesn't remain just a tulip, but gradually transforms into a wonderful mimosa. This is truly a complimentary scent that delights and inspires. The longevity is excellent, and the sillage is simply magnificent!

Yesterday I tried this fragrance from Byredo, and it just blew me away. It was cold outside, but I felt as if spring had arrived early. So fresh and delicate, it reminds me of the first tulips and the March 8th holiday! Today I went to the store and tested it again, only confirming my feelings. I haven't encountered anything like it before, it really stands out among all other fragrances. I will definitely order a decant of it

This floral scent just screams spring, it makes your head spin like booze. Purely feminine, nothing superfluous. Longevity is excellent, the sillage is simply gorgeous, but sometimes it seems a bit too intrusive 😒

This fragrance is like a spring tulip, but not just that. Overall, it's a floral composition. It will give freshness and youthfulness to any girl. Undoubtedly, it's a scent for women. There's a certain mystery to it, I can't quite say if I like it or not

Tulip, honestly, isn't impressive with its scent. Mostly, you only feel the tart bitterness of the stamen and pistil, and overall - it's just delicate greenery. But the Byredo fragrance - that's something! It's really beautiful, but it's not a tulip. Here, it's more spring flowers, light greenery, moisture, and rosebuds that sound so delicate. I really like it, it sounds feminine!

The scent is simply stunning! It's delicate and beautiful, with rounded notes that are pleasantly delightful. Sweetish greens and light floral accents create an amazing sensation. Longevity is good, although it's not too intrusive, which makes it even more appealing

This fragrance evokes real emotions in me. It definitely didn't appear in my life by chance. I think it's worth buying, but what if memories flood over me. But, in principle, let it be, let it gladden the heart ✨

From the very beginning, this fragrance of tulips with leaves seems quite pleasant, but alas, the longevity leaves much to be desired. Otherwise, the perfume is, of course, not bad, but this problem with its duration just kills the whole impression 😒

This tulip is simply a gem in the world of perfumery! It's so natural, as if freshly cut, not yet fully bloomed. Byredo, you guys are awesome!!! I adore this fragrance

Another stunning floral perfume from this brand. It truly evokes tulips, with bright yellow and red hues, as well as the freshness of their strong green stems

A tulip I don't like at all. This scent only disgusts me. When I apply it, it feels like I'm burying my nose in a rotten part of a flower. This bitter smell of stamens with some black pollen is just depressing. I don't understand how anyone can love this
