Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Halfmoon is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Al-Rehab comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Oil-based perfume sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Gourmet and Green. The palette also extends to Musk, Wood, Aromatic and Ambery. Within olfactory families the composition sits in East.

In the first seconds you detect invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Citrus accord and Schisandra.

In the middle phase you meet Grass, Mint and Musk carrying a aromatic green direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In summary Halfmoon holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The Al-Rehab fragrance really stands out, but it seems too sweet to me, although it has its pros. On male skin, it develops much better than on female skin, where it smells a bit strange. It's worth trying, but it won't suit everyone
