Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Royal Garden is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Alan Bray is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Mandarin and Pear.

In the central layer you sense Heliotrope and Jasmine holding a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Ambery and Gourmet.

In summary Royal Garden sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The smell of this water is quite interesting, its longevity is good, no need to reapply. But honestly, the scent isn't too bright, like it's been slightly diluted. If we talk about the notes, the sweetness feels pleasant, but there's definitely a hint of greenness and pear popping through. I can't say it outright thrills me, but you can't call it off-putting either. Overall, it's a strange feeling, I can't decide if I like it or not

Green pears, citrus notes, and an abundance of greenery. The scent is fresh, even too much so, reminding me of some kind of innocence. There's more greenery in Royal Garden than in Annick Goutal's Petite Cherie, but that doesn't make it better 🤷‍♀️
