Mesopotamia joined the Anatoline portfolio in 2018. A unisex fragrance belonging to the wood and floral families. This fragrance is the result of a creative collaboration between Halil Özer and Hüseyin Erdoğmuş. From the Antique collection; released as eau de parfum.

Description of the composition

The composition of Mesopotamia evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Anatoline is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the top tier you detect fresh floral top note: Rose.

At the core of development you notice Patchouli and Tonka bean holding a structural woody direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Floral, Wood, Spicy and Ambery. The palette also extends to Gourmet and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral and Wood.

Overall Mesopotamia reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

This rose truly stands out among others. It's bright and rich, with a dense character. You can feel a passion that doesn't burn out, but transforms into something amazing and beautiful. First, it confidently strides across hot sand, and then gently embraces the skin, like velvety petals enveloped in a haze of sandalwood and oud. In my opinion, the image of the Halfeti black rose is conveyed much more accurately here than in Penhaligon's

The fragrance is indeed very rich and resinous! You can feel white flowers in it, as well as a large amount of sandalwood and vanilla. It smells feminine and dignified. I think such a perfume would be perfect for an older woman
