The note pyramid of Coven (2017) is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Andrea Maack is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a architectural woody mood: Cedar, Clove, Galbanum, Moss, Vanilla and oak.

The smell reminds of some nightmare sabbath. Gothic, gloom, noir - all this in one bottle. As far as I understand, this perfume was made for an exhibition to create the right mood. Well, what can you say, it really turned out strange. As a separate fragrance it's not bad, but this wet grass and moss - it's just torture. It feels like you got into an Icelandic forest after rain, and that doesn't please!
