Angela Flanders Sakura — spring poetry in a perfume bottle

The fragrance Angela Flanders Sakura is an ode to the tenderness and fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms.

Released in 2013, it became part of the legendary Florale collection, dedicated to the most exquisite floral compositions.

Angela Flanders, the creator and inspiration behind the brand whose name the perfume house bears, personally worked on this fragrance, infusing it with all her passion for Victorian London and love of natural ingredients.

Who should wear Sakura and when

This women's fragrance in eau de parfum concentration was created for those who appreciate elegance and refinement.

Thanks to its noticeable sillage, it is perfect for spring and summer days, when you want to surround yourself with a light yet long-lasting cloud of floral petals.

It is an ideal choice for romantic dates, daytime walks, or special occasions—the fragrance unfolds delicately yet confidently, leaving behind a tender impression.

An olfactory journey: the Sakura pyramid

The composition is built around its main accord—cherry blossom, which, combined with violet and heliotrope, creates the most delicate powdery floral bouquet.

Warm facets of almond lend the composition a subtle gourmand touch, while oakmoss and a green accord add freshness and natural harmony.

Noble amber completes the picture, bringing depth and longevity. This is not merely a fragrance, but a true olfactory adventure through a blooming Japanese garden.

Longevity, sillage, and application recommendations

Thanks to its eau de parfum concentration, Sakura offers good longevity (4–6 hours on the skin) and a noticeable yet unobtrusive sillage.

As this fragrance has a distinctly springlike character, perfumers recommend applying it to the wrists, neck, and behind the ears—this allows it to unfold as harmoniously as possible.

Perfect for wearing on its own or layered with other fragrances from the Florale collection.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

What a damn scent! Spring's here, flowers are blooming, and this perfume is just a gem. Delicate, a bit powdery, like a freshly bloomed sakura. But then the base - such bitterness, you don't even know what to think. Usually I prefer something brighter, but this base really got me. Can't say it's strictly good or bad, but it definitely doesn't leave you indifferent
