Description of the composition

The scent of Miyako unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Annayake is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense cardamom-peppery top notes: Cardamom, Cinnamon and Frankincense.

In the middle phase you meet Cedar, Hinoki, Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose and Sandalwood holding a velvety sandalwood direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

My aunt keeps it as if it's some sacred thing, I don't even remember how many years she's had it. I never dared to approach and get acquainted with it. But then, suddenly, I feel this mysterious sillage, as if it's woven from fragrant wood that seems to have been steamed or is slightly smoldering at one edge. It's warm, not sticky, and not at all dense, just high-quality. It gives the impression that it's something incredibly valuable 🤔

This is just some kind of horror! Stinky gothic in a bottle! I wore this "Miyako" in the autumn wind, when it was cold and dry. On my skin, it evoked such images that it was just terrifying. I imagined an old temple, all made of dark stone, where inside there was only cold and sadness. Candles burn, but the atmosphere is such that even the wind doesn't touch their flame. The benches, of course, are not new, but they still smell of resin. And this incense! There's so much of it here it makes your head spin. Somewhere in the distance, you can hear cinnamon, as if someone on the next street decided to bake a pie. But that doesn't save the situation, it's just a nightmare!

In rainy weather, the scent reminds me of a steamed oak broom. Not in a bad way, of course! It's soft and unobtrusive, lasts wonderfully in warm autumn. An excellent choice for those who appreciate comfort and coziness!!

What an interesting scent! It's definitely not for everyone, but that's its charm. Sometimes thick and rich, then suddenly soft and sweetish, simply feminine. In winter, it warms you up perfectly, and the patchouli plays and shimmers so beautifully. And the bottle is just super - stylish, ribbed, pleasant to hold, doesn't slip out 😍
