The creative approach of Annayake is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect invigorating sunny opening notes: Bergamot, Mandarin and Rose. Exactly these 3 notes shape a burst of citrus freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Jasmine, Leather accord and Peony carrying a sensual jasmine direction.

I don't understand why perfumers so stubbornly shove peony notes into their fragrances. Peony isn't bad, of course, but only if it's used skillfully to really make it sound beautiful. In this fragrance, everything is generally okay. Rose and leather, yes, there's a bit of a strange sweetness, but this synthetic peony just drives me crazy. Instead of a floral scent, it turns into some powdery nonsense. It's a real shame, the idea could have been interesting )
