Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Pina Colada is built as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Apple Parfums is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Floral, Spicy, Citrus and Aromatic. The framework further includes Ambery, Musk and Whiteflower. At family level the composition sits in Floral.

In the first seconds you meet fresh floral first notes: Lilac and Lotus.

In the central layer you meet Black Pepper, Citrus accord and Mint keeping a warm-spicy direction. At drydown level the composition is fixed through Ambergris and musk, shaping a deep amber trail.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Musc without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

It seems that you can find completely different scents in the same packaging. My sister and I decided to try this series and bought two bottles of piña colada. One of them exuded the aroma of fresh aquatic flowers, and the other - rich coconut. It seems that the second bottle corresponds to the intended image of the perfume

Five years ago on Russian-speaking YouTube, these fragrances were at the peak of popularity, many reviewed them. I also succumbed to this influence and ordered all 9 cocktails, although I don't remember exactly how many there were. Piña Colada is my favorite cocktail, and I expected its scent to be in the eau de toilette. But, alas, I didn't catch even a hint of it. Instead, there's the freshness of watery lotus with a light sweet mojito accent. It's somehow strange and unexpected, I don't know if I like it or not 🤔
