Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Dirham Gold is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Ard Al Zaafaran is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Whiteflower, Floral and Wood. The palette also extends to Gourmet, Fruit and Sweet. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral, Fruit, Sweet and Wood.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch dry woody first notes: Bergamot, Jasmine, Rose and Sandalwood.

In the middle phase you notice Rose and Vanilla carrying a velvety rose-iris direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Dirham Gold reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The perfume is very rich, with an oriental character. At first, it seems like it's just a dense fragrance with a slightly bitter sweetness, but then bright citrus notes unexpectedly appear. On the one hand, it seems somewhat familiar, but at the same time, the quality is truly excellent 🤔
