Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Black Line is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Arno Sorel is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Wood, Green and Floral. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Fern and Wood.

Right at the start you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Orange and Petitgrain.

In the middle phase you sense Cedar, Cinnamon Leaf, Eucalyptus, Geranium and Lavender holding a velvety sandalwood direction.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

In summary Black Line sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This perfume really stands out with its uniqueness. Its price is simply ridiculous, less than a bottle of vodka. I bought it almost with change and was pleasantly surprised. Now it occupies its rightful place in my work cabinet. Recently, I even used it to remove gel pen marks from the table. The table became clean, and in the office, according to colleagues, the smell was very masculine 😄
