Description of the composition

The composition of Harem Soiree is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Arte Profumi is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Floral and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Very high indicates a stable lasting impression.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a musky-amber mood: Grey Ambergris, Myrrh and Rose.

The middle and base stages are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Animals, Balsamic, Floral and Gourmet. It also reaches into Whiteflower.

Taken together Harem Soiree sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance I tried turned out to be quite interesting. Initially, it opens with a salty-bitter amber, surrounded by thick resins and slightly dried flowers. In the first moments, there's a spicy alcoholic accord, as if someone splashed whiskey. But it quickly becomes heavy and rich.

A bitter mastic with a camphor hint of clove and almond, as well as a dried rose in honeyed propolis, create a complex bouquet. Sulfurous amber notes blend with thick resinous incense. On the skin, the fragrance seems bitter and resinous, but in the sillage, the sweetness of flowers emerges, which may have led to its classification as feminine. However, on a man's body, it sounds different - more brutal, with bitter-sweet and smoky notes.

In the drydown, I caught a drop of clove honey with spices, a pinch of dark chocolate, and rose petals. All this against a background of natural amber. There are no woody notes here. In the deep base, the fragrance resembles Alambar by Laboratorio Olfattivo with its sweetish-bitter almond note. The longevity is impressive - over 12 hours on the skin. This fragrance truly captivates and hypnotizes. And, by the way, a week later I decided to buy a bottle :)

"Harem Evening" or an evening in a harem - at first glance, a sweet-sour fragrance. Spicy, as oriental perfumes should be. It has warming amber, sweets from the East, dry flowers and resins, which, to be honest, I don't really like. It's not quite my style, but many people genuinely enjoy it. My friend, for example, is absolutely thrilled with it. In my opinion, it's unisex
