Betsey Johnson Too Too: A Fragrance That Dances

Betsey Johnson is a name associated with boldness, vibrancy, and unbridled fun. Her fragrance debut, Too Too, released in 2011, was a true explosion of emotion.

This women's fragrance makes its presence known from the very first seconds with a powerful sillage—a trail of sparkling happiness.

Belonging to the floral and fruity fragrance families, Too Too is more than just a perfume—it is a mood.

The Betsey Johnson brand itself was born on New York runways and infused with the energy of a carnival. Too Too is a direct continuation of this philosophy.

The bottle, shaped like a dancer in a pink tutu and black bodice, is an invitation to play. The fragrance is designed for young, free-spirited, active women who are not afraid to be the center of attention.

It is like a breath of fresh air blended with a cocktail of ripe fruits and flowers.

What makes Too Too special? Its rare combination of sweetness and depth.

At its heart are juicy strawberry and luxurious white flowers, while the base features noble oud and a suede accord, giving the composition an unexpected edge.

The fragrance lasts a very long time and leaves a noticeable trail—be ready for compliments.

If you are looking for something with a similar mood, consider Dior Miss Dior (2012), a more classic floral creation, or Montale Aoud Blossom, for lovers of oriental notes.

For those with a sweet tooth, there is Demeter Strawberry Ice Cream.

The top notes open with spicy ginger, juicy mandarin, and exotic passion fruit, with a subtle musky nuance.

At the heart bloom sweet strawberry, delicate rose, velvety tuberose, and sensual jasmine.

The lingering base features warm patchouli, soft sandalwood, woody oud, sweet vanilla, and a suede accord, creating an unexpected contrast with the fruity-floral opening.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I had a sample, but I definitely wouldn't buy a full bottle. The passion fruit is nice, the strawberry is cute, and the floral notes aren't bad either. But this feeling that I've encountered something similar before just won't leave me. And the bottle design, in my opinion, looks too pretentious and even repulsive! ))

The scent isn't bad, but nothing special. First, you get a sweet tang of passion fruit, then strawberry comes to the forefront, and finally, sugary flowers appear. I can't say it wowed me; I just wore the little bottle and soon forgot about it. Overall, it's a pretty standard scent, there are plenty like it on the market, and it lacks uniqueness. Suitable for summer, everyday wear, especially for sweet lovers
