Released in 1978, this eau de cologne for women instantly won the hearts of fragrance enthusiasts. The Bill Blass brand is synonymous with impeccable chic, and this fragrance is no exception.

The Story Behind It and Its Character

The worlds of fashion and perfumery flourished with style in the 1970s, and Bill Blass became one of its most striking representatives.

The fragrance was created as an olfactory portrait of a confident, elegant woman who appreciates classic style with a modern touch.

It brings together contrasts: the freshness of green accords and the softness of floral notes, making it multifaceted and memorable. This is not merely a perfume, but a statement of taste.

With its very strong sillage, Bill Blass Bill Blass creates an aura of luxury and natural sensuality around you.

It is perfect for special occasions or as a bold daytime fragrance that will not go unnoticed. If you love a perfume that makes a statement, this is an excellent choice.

How to Wear It and What Else to Try

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The floral scent is too intrusive, mimosa and tuberose just burst out. The fruits sound somehow outdated, and the balsamic finish is completely out of place. I don't know who came up with this, but it's definitely not for me

This fragrance is, of course, transparent and lovely, but I expected something brighter and spicier. Instead, it turned out to be similar to Pure White Linen by Estée Lauder, which doesn't make me happy at all. In May-June, yes, it somehow blends with the blooming nature, but that doesn't save it from its overall blandness. Honestly, I'm disappointed

How strange that pineapple can be so soft. Usually its taste leaves an unpleasant aftertaste, but here it's as if it's turned into a light cocktail. These lovely floral notes add a special charm. It feels like this isn't just a fragrance, but something more, something that makes you think about what's gone irrevocably. The sillage is also pleasing, it's delicate and memorable

This smell is just awful, like someone left a pineapple in the fridge for a month 😒 The longevity is off the charts, I felt it on myself all day. There's some barely perceptible hint of Climat, but it's so weak it's not even worth mentioning. Maybe someone will find it cute, but for me, it's just old-fashioned nonsense. No tenderness, just disappointment 😤
