Fragrance information:

Discover Biosea L'Energie — an energetic and fresh masculine fragrance from a French niche house born in 2013.

Biosea's philosophy is built on the harmony of nature and modernity, and L'Energie fully embodies this. The composition, created by perfumer Patrick Paquet, delivers a boost of vitality and confidence.

This is a fragrance for active men who value dynamism and style.

Olfactory DNA and Character

L'Energie belongs to the Citrus and Woody families. Its scent is a contrast: the sparkling freshness of citrus intertwines with spicy sharpness and a warm woody base.

The fragrance is ideal for the spring-summer season, daytime outings, and active leisure. With its noticeable sillage, it leaves a vivid impression without being overwhelming.

Unfolding Nuances

The top notes explode with the sourness of yuzu and the bitter freshness of bitter orange.

In the heart, black pepper unexpectedly enters in a duet with delicate neroli — a combination of spicy and floral notes creates intrigue.

The base of cedar, musk, vetiver, and vanilla anchors the fragrance with a soft, slightly sweet, and very long-lasting trail.

Practical Recommendations

This is an eau de parfum with a high concentration of oils. For lasting performance, 2–3 sprays on the skin and 3–4 on clothing are enough. The fragrance lasts about 6–8 hours on the skin, longer on fabric.

If you are looking for something similar, check out Chanel Allure Homme Sport — they share a similar sporty energy, although L'Energie is more niche and spicy.

Description of the composition

The Biosea L'Energie pyramid is built on contrasts. In the top notes, bitter orange (bigarade) and Japanese yuzu sparkle, creating a bright citrus opening.

The heart of the composition is spicy black pepper surrounded by delicate neroli, adding both sharpness and floral softness simultaneously.

The base is a warm woody-musk pillow of cedar, vetiver, white musk, and vanilla.

This accord ensures a long-lasting scent and a seductive trail, combining spiciness, sweetness, and earthy notes.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

4
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Citrus and herbs, light. For spring-summer. Under a shirt and glasses. Not cloying. Longevity ok. Younger brother said — smells like an Armenian. Well that's expensive)
