Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Targa unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Blackbird is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Green, Spicy, Wood and Balsamic. It also reaches into Floral, Fruit and Mineral. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Spicy and Wood.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Ambrette, Black Pepper, Caraway, Cedar, Copaiba balsam, Davana and Frankincense.

The heart and base are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Taken together Targa sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This is a rather masculine fragrance that evokes associations with "Russian leather." It's filled with thick, black smoke of birch tar and amber-cologne notes. It brings to mind how five years ago, such fragrances might have delighted metropolitan fashionistas wanting to emphasize their masculinity. But now, similar compositions cause bewilderment. The description promises oud, immortelle, and many resins, but it seems all of that got lost in the thick smoke. For those who endure to the end, a pleasant surprise awaits - a velvety ambrette musk with a light hint of immortelle and a barely perceptible vetiver
