Description of the composition

The scent of Real Patchouly unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Bois 1920 is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Right at the start you detect grassy-green first notes: Caraway, Cedar, Celery and Lemon. Exactly these 4 notes form morning coolness sensation that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you sense Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Patchouli and Sandalwood carrying a spicy-woody direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Spicy, Wood, Green and Citrus. It also reaches into Aromatic, Balsamic, Ambery and Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Wood.

Overall Real Patchouly sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
