Fragrance information:

Bourjois launched Evasion in 1970 — and it was a brilliant move. A feminine fragrance belonging to the floral family. Created within the Evasion collection and available in eau de toilette.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Produced in France, and you can feel it in every note. Evasion Bourjois unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Evasion is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Bourjois is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

In the first seconds you catch petal-airy top notes: Aldehydes, Citrus accord, Geranium and Green Chord.

When the opening settles you meet Iris, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Orchid, Rose and honeysuckle keeping a opulent floral direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Fairy, Citrus, Floral and Green. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Animals, Sweet and Earthy / Mossy.

Overall Evasion sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
