The year 2013 gave us Fusion Byblos. A masculine fragrance from the fern and wood families. This fragrance is the personal signature of perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. In eau de parfum — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. A couple of sprays will carry you through the whole day — longevity is firmly high. The home of this fragrance is Italy. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The scent of Fusion unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Byblos is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration High suggests confident staying power. In diffusion Middle shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Lychee and Orange.

When the opening settles you notice Black Pepper, Geranium and Rosemary holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Floral. The framework further includes Aromatic, Wood and Musk.

Overall Fusion holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

What an amazing combination! Lychee with rose always appealed, but here lychee with pepper and rosemary - that's just a discovery. Very interesting and fresh, a spicy-green scent with a bright fruity-sour note 🌟
