Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mare is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Byblos is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Fruit, Mineral, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Aquatic. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral and Water.

Right at the start you sense delicate floral top notes: Apricot, Aquatic accord, Lilac and Water Lily.

In the middle phase you sense Jasmine, Rose and Violet holding a velvety rose-iris direction. At drydown level the composition is fixed through Moss, Sandalwood and Vetiver, extending a deep woody trail.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aquatic, Floral, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Mare sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.
