The composition of Velvet Haze begins with a refreshing duo of ambretta and coconut water, creating a light and airy start that instantly lifts the mood.

In the heart of the fragrance, patchouli reigns, adding earthy and woody depth that gives the composition character and longevity.

The base concludes with warm notes of cocoa and musk, enveloping the skin in a soft and persistent trail that recalls velvety tenderness.

This pyramid reflects the groups of drinks, gourmand, green, musky, and woody notes, creating a complex and harmonious bouquet that unfolds over time, surprising with new nuances each time.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Hey everyone, I don't get why some people here say this fragrance makes them sick or that it smells like Narciso R 🤨 My wife and I specifically went to a perfume shop to check it out because I got curious why everyone thinks the scents are almost identical. In the top notes, yeah, there's something similar, but that's only at the beginning. In my opinion, Byredo is much richer and more multi-dimensional, and that's the whole point of niche perfumery. To understand what I mean, you just need to smell both fragrances and compare them 🤷‍♀️ When the scents develop, B. and N.R. become completely different. As for longevity, I disagree there too. Everyone knows that perfume smells different on everyone, and on me, it lasts a long time. Don't even get me started on clothes. If you didn't like this fragrance, you don't need to say it makes someone sick 😒 I don't like a lot of perfumes either, but that doesn't mean I'm the coolest person ever, and if I don't like something, it doesn't make it bad. It's just not for you. Don't be mean, smile more often, thanks everyone, don't judge too harshly! 😊

Velvet Veil didn't impress me at all. There's a vague resemblance to Narciso Rodriguez For Her, but it's very indistinct. You can smell bergamot in the top notes, along with green patchouli and osmanthus. The musk reminds of Rodriguez's style, while the chocolate and coconut are barely noticeable. The longevity and sillage leave something to be desired!! Overall, this scent is clearly more for women

This scent is simply amazing and mysterious! The name 'Dymka' already intrigues. It is really unique, has its own style. But be careful with the amount, otherwise you can get an effect similar to the smell of hair chemicals!!!

What a damn original scent! It's just unique, you won't find another like it. Hard to describe, but this mysterious haze is simply mesmerizing. It won't let go, I want to solve this mystery!

On my skin, this scent is way too loud and sweet. It smells like body cream, but it feels so chemical and coconut-y, hitting you right in the face. I can't tell if I like it or not

Cocoa powder with coconut flakes and spices. A real treat. But if you overdo it, it might feel a bit heavy, and sometimes even causes discomfort in the throat

Kinda crappy scent, but overall not bad. I get notes of milky coconut, and also hot chocolate, just not as hot anymore. There are spices too, and the creamy aftertaste is nice. Overall, I'm surprised, but not blown away

Overkill! Patchouli with musk, cocoa and coconut - nonsense. Couldn't wear it, suffocates. The components don't get along. That's how it is!

A random purchase turned out to be a success! 😌 Coconut water in the pyramid caught my attention. The first time I sprayed it, the patchouli scent surprised me, but it soon became softer. I like wearing it in the evening, it's a bit musky, but in winter and autumn you can use it anytime. I definitely recommend it! 🌙

Many note that this Velvet reminds of Rodriguez, likely due to the musk accent. Personally, I prefer Byredo because its musk isn't overpowering, and I can wear it comfortably. The patchouli here also comes through quite harmoniously, without causing any discomfort

The scent is just awful. There's no warmth, just an intrusive coconut and cocoa combo that is overwhelming. The musk here is completely out of place. No warmth at all, just sweetness that causes nausea. I don't recommend it if you don't want to ruin your mood )

The scent turned out too rich and heavy; you can really smell the coconut and cocoa. Patchouli and woody notes are also present, but they don't overpower the sweetness. Although it's a nice fragrance, I don't want to wear it 😕
