Description of the composition

The composition of Ex`cla-ma`tion Noir evolves as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Coty is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fruit, Floral, Whiteflower and Ambery. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Musk. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Chypre and Floral.

Right at the start you catch vibrant berry top notes: Apricot, Freesia, Plum and Violet.

In the central layer you detect Iris, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley and ylang-ylang keeping a silky white floral direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Powdery and Amber enrich the profile without taking over.

Overall Ex`cla-ma`tion Noir holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

It seems this scent reminds me of Allure by Chanel. Peaches with ylang-ylang, but without the usual patchouli and characteristic Chanel base. A fragrance for adults, with a serious mood
