Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Vetiver Vert evolves as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Czech & Speake comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Spicy and Wood. It also reaches into Earthy / Mossy. At family level the fragrance belongs to Citrus and Green.

In the first seconds you catch radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot and Mandarin.

In the central layer you sense Galbanum and Laurel holding a cool herbal direction. In the base the line is anchored through Sandalwood and Vetiver, reinforcing a deep woody trail.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Citrus, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Overall Vetiver Vert holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. I have a sample of this fragrance. It truly evokes a sense of calm, but there's some inner strength to it. It can't be compared to Encre Noir and its Lalique vetiver. Vetiver Vert, in my opinion, is more delicate. Yes, its development is slow, but sometimes it feels like you smell the base first, and then the top notes again 🌿

The vetiver here has a light tobacco nuance, and citruses add interest (grapefruit and mandarin are especially bright - the sweetness reminds you of the last days of December, when everyone is preparing for the new year) But this sweetness quickly fades, and bay leaf, galbanum, and frankincense take its place. Sandalwood is felt in the base, but it's very restrained. Vetiver Vert develops slowly and unhurriedly, but exactly this rhythm suits it perfectly 🌟
