The scent of Le Musk unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Daniel Josier is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Right at the start you detect delicate floral first notes: Abelmoschus, Angelica and Muscone. These 3 notes shape an elegant floral wave that is impossible to miss.

At the core of development you notice Patchouli, Rose and Woody Accord keeping a velvety sandalwood direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood enrich the profile without taking over.

this seems to be another attempt to rethink musk fragrances. there's no cleanliness here, just some rough, grayish texture. it reminds me of the scent of gray flannel, and the name suits it perfectly. there's not a drop of tenderness or a hint of attractiveness in this smell. it's too serious and reserved, like a blue stocking or an eternal bachelor
