The olfactory structure of Cuir Tabac unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of David Jourquin is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a architectural woody mood: Lavender, Patchouli, Tobacco and musk.

This fragrance is brighter than the one with Mandarin, and the tobacco in it smells very masculine, even a bit aggressive, thanks to the combination with patchouli and lavender. I liked it, but still not as much as Cuir Mandarin 🌟

This fragrance reminds me of a respectable man who exudes confidence with notes of lavender and patchouli. Fresh tobacco lies on his table, creating an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. It's a classic of men's perfumery, but, honestly, it's too predictable and doesn't evoke much emotion. The elegance here is on point, but the boredom is just off the charts 😴
