Description of the composition

The composition of L'Autre is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Diptyque comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Spicy, Wood and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the composition sits in East and Spicy.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense spicy sparkling opening notes: Black Pepper, Cardamom and Clove. These 3 notes shape voluminous spicy depth that anchors the first impression immediately.

At the core of development you notice Caraway, Coriander and Nutmeg carrying a spicy-aromatic direction. In what remains on skin the composition is fixed through Patchouli, shaping a warm vetiver trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together L'Autre reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.
