Description of the composition

The composition of Thousand Lakes unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Visiteur is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Abstract, Fruit, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Leather and Mineral add depth to the backdrop.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a natural green mood: Birch leaf, Blackcurrant, Green Chord, Leather accord, Minerals, Rhubarb and Smoke.

The grasses in the pasture stink, and indole just adds to the discomfort. The smoke from a Finnish sauna with birch whisks on the shore of a cold lake with salty water - that's just awful. Warming up in a sauna with the smells of wood and stones after a swim - no way, that's not the best moment, no matter how Marie Schnirer tried to sell it in Nuit de Sable by BDK. I just don't understand how anyone can love this 😤

The smell is indeed interesting, with an unusual texture. First, you feel a light citrus freshness, as if you're in a garden. Then something denser appears, reminiscent of damp earth and plants. Overall, this combination creates an atmosphere where you want to relax and enjoy the moment. The impression is quite pleasant, though a little strange

Strangely enough, I just can't resist it! At first, it seems cold, even a little damp, but then it starts to unfold. Smoke and the bitterness of resin mix with light notes of greenery and berries, and a salty minerality adds intrigue. It's simply stunning 😍
