Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Camelia Rouge is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Dr. Taffi comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Drinks, Floral, Musk and Gourmet. The palette also extends to Wood and Whiteflower. At family level the composition sits in Floral.

From the first breath you sense tea-refreshing top note: Absinthe.

In the central layer you meet Camellia and Rose carrying a opulent floral direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Low points to a sustained drydown presence. In projection Weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

Taken together Camelia Rouge holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Imperceptible
2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Somehow it turned out that I'm really looking forward to fragrances from the Profumati di Benessere collection, but so far I've only found Camellia from this brand in normal bottles. And, honestly, this is not at all what I hoped to get. I expected something bright, but here everything looks rather dull and mediocre. Too much vanilla and rose, but it's not something that can be compared to Mancera, it just lacks depth. And yes, alcohol is felt, but not the kind I'd want, rather some inexpressive kind 😔
