Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Chypre is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Dupetit is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Earthy / Mossy, Aromatic and Floral. The framework further includes Wood and Spicy.

In the first seconds you sense invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot and Oak moss. These 2 notes set a burst of citrus freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

At the core of development you meet Basil, Rose and Sandalwood keeping a noble herbal direction. In the base the structure settles through Tonka bean, Vetiver and Woody Accord, reinforcing a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.
