Fragrance information:

The year 2000 gave us Possesion Eau Jeune. A feminine fragrance from the east family. Created by the skilled hands of Nathalie Lorson and Beatrice Piquet. Concentration — eau de toilette: exactly what it needs to be.

Country of origin — France, and that already says something about the quality. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Possesion is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Eau Jeune is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet fresh floral first notes: Magnolia and Tonka bean.

In the middle phase you notice Cyclamen and musk carrying a harmonious floral direction. At the foundation the structure settles through Lotus and Sandalwood, shaping a elegant floral trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Floral, Spicy, Musk and Wood. It also reaches into Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East.

In summary Possesion holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I got this perfume from my sister when I was around 11-12 years old. The scent is just amazing, so soft and a little sweet. If I were to describe it now, it reminds me of almond milk and vanilla, but back then it seemed incredibly delicious and reminded me of sweet fruits

Honestly, the scent is kinda weird. Sometimes it's bright, sometimes you can't feel it at all, and it doesn't depend on the season. It's like it decides itself when to project. The notes are constantly changing, and it's just annoying. It's beautiful, yeah, but this unpredictability makes it not a favorite. It's hard to describe too, I just don't have the words 😤
