Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Emotion is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Elizabeth Grant comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Whiteflower and Floral. It also reaches into Spicy and Earthy / Mossy.

From the first breath you detect juicy fruity top notes: Bergamot, Lychee, Peach and Plum.

In the central layer you notice Gardenia, Iris, Lily of the Valley, Orchid and Rose keeping a velvety rose-iris direction. In the final layer the line is anchored through Ginger, Oak moss and White Pepper, extending a deep spicy trail.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Powdery and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Emotion reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance resembles fruity chewing gum, which is undoubtedly pleasant and cute. But when it develops, a certain dusty film appears, which I associate with white pepper. Even in such an affordable perfume, this note clearly stands out and, as always, causes me trouble
