Diorama arrived in 1949 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. A feminine fragrance from the chypre and floral families. This fragrance is the result of a creative collaboration between Serge Heftler-Louiche and Edmond Roudnitska. The fragrance concentration is perfume extract.

The sillage is very delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. In terms of longevity, it sits at moderate — long enough to make a real impression. The olfactory structure of Diorama is shaped as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Dior comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Citrus and Floral without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Leather add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

In the top tier you detect juicy fruity top notes: Bergamot, Melon, Peach and Plum.

At the core of development you notice Black Pepper, Caraway, Cinnamon, Clove, Galbanum and Gardenia keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.
