Description of the composition

Composition and Fragrance Development

The note pyramid of Escada Born in Paradise begins with a playful chord of top notes: green apple, guava and watermelon, which create an instant sensation of freshness and juiciness, like the first sip of a cool drink on a hot day.

At the heart of the fragrance, tropical notes of coconut and pineapple unfold, adding a creamy sweetness and exotic charm reminiscent of a beach getaway.

The base part of the composition is built on warm and stable notes of cedar, sandalwood and musk, which ensure longevity and a soft, enveloping finish.

The entire composition belongs to the floral and fruit families, with note groups including fruity and musky accents, making it multifaceted and pleasant to perceive throughout the day.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This scent is a complete disappointment. It reminds me of Escada's limited editions, but not in a good way. Brightness and juiciness are nice, of course, but the presentation doesn't save the situation. The scent is like you've walked into a tropical market, but only with bad fruit. Sweetish-fresh, but more cloying than delicious. In the end, it feels like there's only fruit gum around. And unfortunately, it lacks longevity to fix any of that

Coconut with watermelon bubblegum, as if you drank a glass of multifruit juice. The fragrance is very summery, filling you with joy and sunshine. I keep the last drops in the bottle, taking it out in winter to return to summer, if only for a little while

From the first inhale, you feel the bright freshness of sea water, intertwined with coconut, pineapple, and watermelon. This fragrance is definitely created for relaxation. It brings an optimistic mood, the sweetness of a summer day, yet it's not too intrusive and doesn't cause irritation 🌊

A summer fragrance that was once perfect now only brings sadness. Bright, fruity, with a light sweetness, it reminded me of hot countries and exotic fruits. Delicious and juicy, but the longevity left much to be desired. The sillage was strong, and I still remember that watermelon cocktail with pineapple and coconut. I'd love to repeat that experience, but alas, it's no longer available. I bought it at Duty Free in Crete, and now only memories remain 😔

The fragrance, frankly speaking, is not among the best. Sweetness and freshness are certainly present, but a sense of cloying sweetness lingers. The notes that should bring joy sound somewhat uncertain, as if trying to hide their true nature. In the end, instead of pleasure, only bitterness remains 😔

How wonderful it is when a fragrance has the freshness of watermelon, apple, and a hint of guava tartness! 🍉 Sweet coconut and pineapple add such a bright touch, and musk gives it completeness. This fragrance simply fills you with joy and light, it's truly very positive! 🌟

Pineapple with coconut is just some kind of nonsense. A summer smell, yes, but too intrusive and bright. There's no positive vibe here, rather it's irritating. I'm glad it doesn't smell like chemicals, but the longevity is just a disaster 😤

I used to be a fan of Escada's limited editions, especially the summer ones. But this scent didn't impress me. It's too salty and peppery, it even tickles my nose. It's probably supposed to evoke associations with a sea breeze and fresh wind, but wearing it in the city feels somehow inappropriate. Maybe it would reveal itself only on vacation. In Anapa, for example, I found it completely uninteresting. I couldn't understand it

Blue Lagoon isn't just a scent, it's a whole cocktail of emotions. Summery, beachy, but alas, it disappears too quickly. In the heat, it might seem pleasant, but it definitely lacks longevity. Beautiful, but leaves a bitter aftertaste

What an amazing cocktail of tropical fruits! Honestly, it's just impossible to distinguish the notes. It seems like everything imaginable has been mixed in here, and half the names I haven't even heard of. It's a sweet, fruity delight, as if created right inside a coconut or pineapple shell. A real burst of energy and inspiration! ))

I recently tried this fragrance at duty-free, and honestly, I'm disappointed again. Escada with its summer limited editions has let me down more than once. The scent is too chemical, the sweetness is unnatural, and the sourness is just irritating. The watery quality of the fragrance isn't pleasing either. Frankly, it reminds me of some cheap mass-market perfume, and sometimes even an air freshener

Coconut scents aren't for everyone, of course, but this one, in my opinion, is just too much. It's way too sharp and intrusive. The watermelon, which was supposed to add freshness, only makes things worse, creating a watery sensation that's just annoying. In the end, it's not a cocktail, but some murky sludge. Summer dates? No way, it's more like a scent you want to wash off as soon as possible

How amazing it is! The sillage is simply stunning, felt from a distance. You don't encounter it on women as often these days, which is certainly pleasing. Elegance in every nuance, and, although I don't like the word, it truly looks prestigious. A ten out of ten! 😍

The fragrance, to be honest, didn't impress me. I always try to evaluate perfumes without bias, disregarding advertising, others' opinions, or the appearance of the bottle. It's important for the scent to speak for itself, rather than depending on the brand or its popularity

A fragrance considered a true classic in perfumery really evokes a lot of emotions. It's multi-layered and deep, but despite that, it's quite difficult to pinpoint specific notes. They all seem to blend, forming something unique and memorable. This creates a feeling that you're immersing yourself in something more than just a scent. But perhaps that's where its sadness lies - such complexity sometimes leaves a feeling of unspokenness ))
