Fragrance information:

Estelle Ewen and Very Blue — a combination worth experiencing. A feminine fragrance rooted in the floral family. By character, it falls into the musk, floral, and mineral groups. Released in eau de parfum.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. Recommended dosage: 2-3 sprays on both skin and clothing. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. France is where this fragrance comes from — and it shows. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Very Blue evolves as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Estelle Ewen is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Floral, Mineral, Musk and Fruit. It also reaches into Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral.

In the top tier you catch juicy fruity first notes: Blackcurrant, Lily of the Valley and Rose.

When the opening settles you meet Cyclamen, Freesia, Jasmine and Violet keeping a opulent floral direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aquatic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle points to a sustained drydown presence. In trail behavior Weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

In summary Very Blue reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

It really smells as it's named, reminiscent of Light Blue, but it also has something of Acqua di Gio by Armani. It turns out to be a mix of many popular fragrances. Yes, there's a chemical note, but overall it's quite pleasant 😌
