Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mystic Night evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Etos is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Floral, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a soft-dry woody mood: Patchouli, Pink pepper, Rose and Sandalwood. Here 4 notes work as one coherent layer, forming a sense of noble depth that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Wood, Spicy, Floral and Gourmet. It also reaches into Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the composition sits in East and Floral.

Taken together Mystic Night reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Today I thought patchouli with rose and citruses was a real find, especially with a vanilla base, like in the classic Chance. But in this fragrance, it seems there's only sweet patchouli with rose. The vanilla is missing, and it's just awful. How could such an important element be overlooked
