Description of the composition

The composition of Ozone evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Franck Boclet comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

In the first seconds you detect salty-airy first notes: Aquatic accord and Salt. Exactly these 2 notes form a cool salty touch that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you sense Metallic notes keeping a smoky-mineral direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aquatic, Wood, Leather and Mineral without random overlap. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence High points to a sustained drydown presence.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Mineral, Wood, Leather and Aromatic. The palette also extends to Aquatic. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Aromatic and Water.

Taken together Ozone reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is distinctly masculine, with notes of aquatic freshness and salt. But it really stands out with its brightness and richness, reminiscent of Avon colognes aimed at men. And again, the feeling of shaving foam, just cheaper than Absinthe

At first, I looked at the pyramid for a long time, hoping the fragrance would unfold on my skin. But instead of what I expected, I felt oxidized metal and salt, and then suddenly some men's cologne, reminiscent of Old Spice, emerged. The base lasts a long time, but even though it doesn't project brightly, it still causes irritation

This fragrance didn't impress me at all, it's too intrusive and heavy, as if someone decided to pour everything into it. The smell reminds me of something rusty, like old tools left in a garage. Overall, not for me, definitely not my style 😅
