Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Poesie is built as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Frederic Haldimann is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood, Powdery, Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Orange blossom, Osmanthus and Peach.

In the central layer you notice Jasmine, Rose, Tuberose and honeysuckle holding a sensual jasmine direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Whiteflower, Floral and Fruit. It also reaches into Ambery, Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

Taken together Poesie sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

The fragrance is just terrible, the floral notes are too intrusive. Tuberose with jasmine is overpowering, and sweet peach in vanilla syrup only makes it worse. Overall, for me, it's too heavy and unbearable 😤
