Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance is truly impressive, it's like something from another era. Multilayered and interesting, it's capable of surprising you. It might not appeal to everyone, but despite its vintage notes, it remains quite pleasant and easy to wear

I haven't dared to wear this Lanvin yet, but it smells chic, dignified, and, of course, a little vintage. I've heard some people call it 'grandma's perfume' Oh, how wrong they are, it's just a truly mature scent by nature ✨

This Lanvin fragrance was a real discovery for me, but alas, it turned out to be the only one that truly captivated me. Everything that came out after seems too simple and unexpressive. Arpège, however, is something special: soft aldehydes create a warm, creamy atmosphere, and mint adds an interesting touch. It certainly reminds you of styles from past years, but that's precisely its charm!
