Description of the composition

The scent of Black Adamant evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of G Parfums is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Animalistic, Gourmet, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Amber add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a soft-dry woody mood: Ambergris, Benzoin, Castoreum, Cedar, Patchouli and musk.

The deeper layers are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Ambery, Balsamic, Animals and Wood. The palette also extends to Musk and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East and Wood.

Taken together Black Adamant holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.
