Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Équivoque is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Givenchy is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Spicy and Wood. At family level the scent maps to Spicy and Wood.

From the first breath you meet cardamom-peppery opening note: Cardamom. This 1 note forms piquant dynamism that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you sense Atlas Cedar, Guaiac wood and Virginian Cedar holding a velvety sandalwood direction. In the base the structure settles through Oud, extending a warm vetiver trail.

The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.
