Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Before I looked at the pyramid, I thought it was all wormwood, but it's actually immortelle. The scent is prickly and dry, some kind of herbs, greenery is definitely noticeable. Overall, quite curious, it would work well for the right mood

Green notes, the bitterness of dried herbs, and at the base, sweetish wood. This fragrance just doesn't let go, its sillage is powerful and long-lasting ✨

I couldn't figure out what its scent was. I didn't study the notes. At first I felt something coffee-like, then something alcoholic, and now, it seems, a marigold note has been added. Is this immortelle? Very curious!

The fragrance with dusty green shades, where the immortelle note plays the main role, turns out to be quite tart and unusual. It sounds natural and appealing, but for a perfume, this might seem like a strange choice 🌿

The smell is quite unusual. When I was a child, my grandmother often used an immortelle decoction for her feet, and my brother and I used to collect this plant. Its smell is still in my memory. When it was dried and steeped in boiling water, the aroma was sharp and medicinal. Here, in this perfume, something similar is felt, only in a more refined execution

Sandalwood, of course, removes that sharpness that green notes always have. The foliage here is really soft, but the opening still seems too harsh. Fortunately, it quickly fades, and something more delicate takes its place. But that initial harshness leaves an unpleasant aftertaste )
